what's involved

ARUP is looking for more than 200 graduates to join them in a wide range of disciplines each year.

minimum criteria

A sound technical background in a relevant degree. Requirements vary from job to job, so please refer to the specific job description. All candidates must meet the following criteria:

- You should have obtained, or are predicted to obtain, a 2:1 or above (or equivalent) in a relevant degree;

- You should not have more than two years relevant post-graduate work experience, following the completion of your most recent degree. This does not include placements and year in industry courses.

ARUP will get back to you to let you know if you are through to the next stage. This will be a short telephone interview.

After passing a telephone interview and a business review, 

you’ll be invited to an assessment centre. This will take place in the office that best matches your skills and interests, and their requirements.

There, you’ll meet the team and take part in a technical exercise, a group exercise and a competency-based interview.

ARUP offers a variety of placement opportunities each year in different areas - quantity surveying, masterplanning and urban design among them.

 

Duration: summer internships - from 6 weeks,

industrial placement - up to a full year
